How to Get There

By ferry: Ferries leave from the Amador Causeway Ferry Terminal and run several times a day. It's a good idea to check the schedule and book your ticket ahead of time, especially on weekends. Some tour operators offer packages that include the ferry plus a guided tour or a discount on accommodation. If you're bringing a pet, it's possible — just check with the ferry operator beforehand to find out their pet policy and any extra fees.

By yacht or catamaran: Want something a bit more special? Several marinas in Panama City offer private yacht and catamaran charters to Taboga and the nearby islands of Panama Bay. A great option if you want to make the trip part of the experience.
