How to Get to Portobelo?

By Car: 

If you're traveling by car, you're about an hour from the Sabanitas exit from Panama City. Take the Panama-Colon highway; when you reach Sabanitas, turn right and you'll be about 50 minutes from Portobelo. Keep in mind that if you booked a tour package from Panama City, transportation may already be included.

By Bus:

If you prefer to travel in public transportation, head to the Gran Terminal de Transporte in Albrook. From there, daily buses run to the Colon terminal or the Sabanitas exit. From either stop, take a local bus or taxi to Portobelo.
